Want to learn how to start your own homestead on a quarter acre or less? Interested in what it takes to start a food forest? Have a passion for growing and supplying your own food? Come together with other local gardeners, farmers, and homesteaders and learn about what it means to start your path towards true independence. Bring a desire to learn, a desire to help, and a passion for Mother Nature and you're sure to have a good time. Absolutely no experience necessary, limited to 30 people, $10 at the door. Our Compost Plan 2024
Over the last couple of years, we have been composting our food scraps and livestock droppings to become nutrient rich soil for the next season's harvest. Now, you or your business can join in and do your part! We have a current compost collection system in place where we will drop off and pick up buckets (free of charge) for you or your business if you or your business are willing to fill those buckets with only acceptable food scraps. It's a great way to limit your waste production (and save money) and do something positive for your local community and the environment as a whole.
